Last week we were in Tupelo and Memphis again. We went to Memphis to celebrate my mom's side of the family's August Birthdays and my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary...WOW, we're only on year 4!! Then we headed to Tupelo for a Sip-n-See (again) for Tripp with Jay's mother's friends. It was wonderful and Tripp was definitely a sport, not crying once!
We also had our 2 month check up this week! We are weighing in at 13 lbs and 24 1/2 inches long!! Thank God for a beautiful, happy and healthy baby!

Tripp is a "trip"

The other morning I put Tripp in his bouncy seat, walked in the laundry room and came back to find him "lowriding"!! He now refuses to be strapped in (don't call child services) and scoots his way down to the end every time we put him in it! He cries when we straighten him up so we just let him lowride all the time now! Jay said all he needs is a remote and he'd be ready to go! And yes, he has on a romper that says "Rockstar" on it!!

2 months

I can't believe that Tripp has been here for 2 months already! He is really showing his personality now, smiles and "talks" all the time. His bouncy seat is his favorite place to hang out. He gets a huge kick out of the noises, music and moving animals on it. He started sleeping in his crib for naps and I noticed that he slept for about 2 hours so I tried it at night too and he really sleeps a lot better and only wakes up for his 2 feedings! We slept til 7 this morning after our 3:00 feeding which was a dream for me!

Four Fabulous Years!

Today is our 4 year anniversary! It's amazing how many memories can go in to 9 years of a relationship. Jay is an amazing husband, loyal friend and now a fabulously loving father! Thank you for loving us and making our lives much fuller and happier every day!

One Month

Wow! Time sure does fly when you are sleep deprived and kissing on a little baby so much your mouth hurts!! Tripp is growing and changing every day. He's got to be close to the 10 pound mark because picking him up isn't as easy as it once was and I know it only gets harder! Smiles are starting but nothing continuous yet so I keep the camera close by for that!
